What is your Cancellation Policy?2024-03-24T11:49:45-04:00

We require at least 48 hours notice prior to checkin for cancellation of a booking.

Upon booking, the customer will pay a booking deposit in the amount of 1 night of their stay. If the customer fails to provide cancellation notice within 48 hours prior to 3:00pm the day of their check in the booking deposit will be forfeited.

Customers who provide cancellation notice 48 hours or more prior to their check in will be refunded their booking deposit.

We do not offer partial refunds if customers decide to depart prior to their check out day.

Where do we check in and what if we are arriving late?2024-03-24T11:52:02-04:00

The check in is located 50 meters across the river from Stonyhurst at our store Buckeye Surf 12 Bolton Street Bobcaygeon, ON. Upon arrival customers should park and proceed to the store to pay for their room and get their key.

You can check in any time after 3:00 pm. If you will arrive after 6pm, please let us know so we can make arrangements to give you access to your room. For late check in please call 855-738-9283. For emergencies after 6pm where customers have not made arrangements for late check in please call 705-731-7551 (Taylor). We ask that customers please arrange late check ins prior to their arrival.

Check in time is 3:00pm.
Check out time is 10:00am.

How much is the Security Deposit and how does it work?2024-03-24T11:53:25-04:00

A credit card Pre-Authorization of $200 is held at check in as assurance the room will not be damaged. The security hold is released after your check out once our staff have had a chance to clean and inspect the room.

A pre-authorization is not a charge, but it will appear as a pending transaction on your credit card statement for up to 72 hours after we have released it.

Customers are responsible for any damage that occurs to the unit, the contents of the unit, or the property. If the cost of the damage exceeds $200, the customer is still liable for the entire replacement/repair value of damaged property. Smoking in the unit during your stay also forfeits the $200 security hold.

The Boathouse (Unit # 5) has a private patio and BBQ for your own use.

All other units (1, 2, 3 & 4) have a walkout area and BBQ for your use.

The waterfront lawn area is available to all of our guests.  This includes lawn patio set, lawn chairs & fire pit.

Fishing is allowed from the docks in the designated areas.

What are the Check-In and Check-Out times?2023-04-17T12:12:10-04:00

You can check in any time after 3:00 pm.  Check-In is located just across the bridge at Buckeye Surf.  If you will arrive after 6pm, please let us know so we can leave your key in the lockbox for you and we will check you in the next morning.  Please call 1 (855) 738-9283.

Is your hotel pet friendly?2024-03-24T11:57:11-04:00

Stonyhurst is proud to be pet friendly. There is an additional $20 charge per stay for guests bringing their pets. We ask that pets be on a leash while walking the property, guests clean up after their pets, and pets are not left alone in the rooms while you are not on the property.

We also ask you to use your own discretion when planning to bring your pet. Keep in mind you will be sharing the property with other guests during your stay. If you know that your pet is not good with other animals, people, or children we respectfully ask that you do not bring them along during your stay.

Do you offer housekeeping units?2024-03-24T11:59:26-04:00

Stonyhurst Inn does not offer daily room keeping services, or turndown services. If you are staying with us for a time period of beyond one week you can request to have your sheets and bedding changed part way through your stay.

We will provide fresh towels, facecloths, and linens upon request. Requests can be made at our store Buckeye across the river from Stonyhurst.
